Ah yes, I totally agree with Motion City Soundtrack and The Rocket Summer.

The only CD I would add is Saves The Day's Under The Boards. (other than that, most of the music I listen to is from the 80's and 90
s haha)

Yesss Bright Eyes! Gotta love that c.d.

I'd add, Lupe Fiasco The Cool. You need some rap here and there right? And hmmm, if Windmill released a new c.d. like I thought, then I'd add them.

Good picks man.
Good picks.

I'm not sure if they all came out this year but

Stories by Lannen Fall <-- Awesome band of amazing guys

Truth In Sincerity by Amber Pacific is an absolutely amazing record, and they're just as good live.

Riot! by Paramore is definitely a best.

That's about it for CDs, but an amazing band that hasn't put out a full CD that is definitely check-outable is Raleigh. You can find them at myspace.com/raleighmusic

Especially with Tegan and Sara having the number one spot.
However, I would have but A Fine Frenzy in place of Say Anything, and moved Motion City Sountrack down a few.
Only because those (MCS and Say Anything) were major disappointments in comparison to their previous efforts.

I bought The Con by Tegan and Sara about 4 days after it was released, and I learned about the CD a day or two before that. It came to me at a perfect time, and was an aid of self-release for me. I fell in Love with it. As for Kate Nash, I nearly ordered the CD import for almost $30 until I learned it would be released in the US in January. I can't wait.

My Top 4 albums of the year are in your top 10, which is quite cool : )
Tegan&Sara
Motion City Soundtrack
The Rocket Summer
Jimmy Eat World
Love it

So, I know I'm commenting a little late, but I basically agreed with your list. You have incredible taste. Except I might have moved The Format up a bit, because I anticipated that one almost as much as I did The Rocket Summer's. I was up for like three days waited to buy a bunch of merch. My room is littered with logo matches. Well, this was nonsensical.
